The Anchor Trick

The Anchor Trick by Anthony Wall
Anthony Wall's The Anchor Trick was part of adventure series 'Roger Moore and the Crimefighters' for readers aged 8 to 13.

Gripping entertainment, the books also showed how ordinary children can help the police - and that it is far more worthwhile to be on the side of law and order than to indulge in vandalism and troublemaking. The six-volume series, backed by Scotland Yard, had actor Roger Moore as its charismatic figurehead.
